Indigo Blue Art offers a consultancy service to help build a portfolio of art based on the clients brief and budget. The importance of good lighting cannot be overstressed to ensure full enjoyment of the artwork and in many cases, longevity of the art piece. Our in-house lighting consultant who bridges the gap between an architect and an engineer can provide customised lighting solutions lighting plans for each brief. The lighting plan can be a simple layout showing lighting positions for lighting a single artwork, to a complete lighting consultancy for a home which includes a circuit schedule of the lighting for each area (especially useful for manual and preset dimmers), full spec sheets for the fittings specified together with their lamps, beam widths and colour temperature if applicable, installation and final tweaking of lights to effectively light the artwork.
This is a service which can be requested at the point of purchase of a painting to ensure longevity of the artwork. The framing is carried out by professional conservators and is an additional cost which must be borne by the client.
